We’re still catching up on all the tournaments held last weekend, and the IBJJF’s Miami International Open could not be overlooked. PSLPB Cícero Costha’s João Miyao had another one of his great performances as he advanced through the light featherweight division and took gold with a beautiful submission.
Against Washington Lima, João played guard, inverted, attacked from the back, and then effectively used his lapel. The full fight can be seen here:
