Isaque Bahiense nabs another title. IBJJF
Shortly after winning Copa Podio’s lightweight title, Isaque Bahiense of Alliance took another trip to the Mexico International Open, which took place Feb. 25 in the Alto Rendimiento National Center.
There he got three gold medals. The middleweight gi final saw him face off against Samuel Snow. With his trademarked pressure, Isaque dominated the match right up to the point where he applied the decisive armbar.

“O triângulo na academia Gracie começou a ser feito em 1958. A primeira vez que deram triângulo lá eu achei aquilo um absurdo, porque eu não conhecia. Até que experimentaram em mim, e eu vi que era um golpe muito eficiente, totalmente eficaz. Cada praticante tem uma mania, cada um tem um jeito. Chave de pé, por exemplo. Eu era um exímio aplicador dessas chaves, mas as pessoas não tinham muito amor por isso. É um golpe como outro qualquer. Muito bom, e se você souber usar, dá que funciona.”
