*The Internacional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) announced this week the International Jiu-Jitsu Charity Day (JJCD). The JJCD will host a variety of charitable drives during the Kids International/Long Beach Open 2016, December 11 in Long Beach. All of the proceeds from these drives will be donated to UNICEF.

IBJJF invites the community to join in the efforts to make a better world, through the power of Jiu-Jitsu. The organization invites the community to participate on the following activities for this year’s JJCD:

– IBJJF will be auctioning on eBay Gis, shirts, and hats signed by Black Belt World Champions, who are role models of the sport;
– Athletes are asked to bring 1 pound/piece of non perishable food in exchange for the athlete’s shirt. We will make a donation to the LA Food Bank;
– The organization will work alongside volunteers to enrich the event by involving the community with the cause, creating an event of unlimited proportions for the years to come;
– IBJJF will be organizing seminars of prestigious professors, in which the registration fees will be entirely donated to UNICEF.

We would love to have your support as a volunteer, athlete, collaborator and much more. Want to join? please contact ibjjf@ibjjf.com.
