It’s about time for another landmark event in Jiu-Jitsu history. Further proof that the gentle art and surfing go hand in hand, Hawaii is getting ready to receive the latest IBJJF championship, the Honolulu Open, this coming September 4 in the capital of the world-famous archipelago.

Big names have already started to pop up on the list of registered athletes, like Luis Fernando “Limão” Heredia, the leader of Maui Jiu-Jitsu, a surfer and old-school tough guy, who will compete in the over 46 year-old division.

This Sunday the 15th marks the last day to get your name on the list at a discount, so don’t miss it. Drop in and have fun at one of the most heavily anticipated championships of the year, with complete and exclusive coverage in GRACIEMAG.

The tournament will take place at Henry J. Kaiser High School on the coming 4th.
