Arab Cup Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kids

GMA member Zaid Mirza, leader of team Mirza and president of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu federation of Jordan has an announcement to make.

The first edition of the Arab Cup for Kids will be hosted at the Amman Baccalaureate School this coming weekend September 24th & 25th .

Kids ages 4-14 will be competing for prizes, kimonos and medals.

“For the first time, we will be giving out 8 Playstation III for kids who get first place, Keiko Specialized Kimonos for second and medals for third”, says proudly Brown Belt Mohammed Bilbeisi, organizer of the tournament.

“This event has been going on for the past 7 years and this year we decided to open it for all Arab countries.  We already have confirmed athletes from Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Palestine.  This year we already hit the 120 mark, the biggest so far.”, adds Bilbeisi.

The organizers invite all athletes from the region to come and compete.

The event is sponsored by the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Jordan.
