GMA member school Vita Jiu-Jitsu, in Cascais, Portugal, made the headlines this July.

The newspaper “A Bola” (The ball), usually dedicated to soccer, devoted two pages to Jiu-Jitsu.

Entitled “Uma grande escola de vida em Cascais” (A great school of life in Cascais), the piece talked about the success of Sergio Vita’s work in that country.

With over 100 students, Vita took the opportunity to present to a wider audience the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu and to talk about the growth of his team since the beginning.

The newspaper completed the story with a brief timeline of the origins of the gentle art.
