Abu Dhabi Pro trials in Jordan

Under the patronage of Prince Hussein Mirza, President of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation of Jordan the Abu Dhabi World Cup Pro trials takes place in Jordan this weekend.

Over 130 competitors will be competing for the free ride to the Abu Dahbi World Cup Pro, in April 2011.  The opening ceremony will feature the Jordan Armed Forces Ceremonial Musical Band showcasing the Jordanian and Bedouin costume while playing jordanian traditional music.
Organizers Zaid Mirza and Pedro Galiza also warm up the first MMA Championship in the region. Desert Force Championship promises to bring exciting bouts on December 8th at the famous Orthodox Club in the heart of amman.
Pedro Galiza, Director of the event already slips some big names coming to the “Desert”.
“We already have big names like Danillo “Indio” Villefort (ATT), Cristiano Marcelo (CM SYSTEM), Antony Rea (France), Francimar Bodao ( Nova Uniao), Pavel Kusch (Sambo World Champion from Ukraine) along with promising regional names like Ali Salem (UAE), Karam Saleh (Egypt) Daniel Hilal (Lebanon), Yousef “Polvo” Al-Ahmad (Kuwait), Khalid Hassan (Syria), Hashem “Cavaquinha” Arkhagha, Khalid Abdulkarim and Saad Qweidar all from Mirza Team.
