Jackson Sousa, of Checkmat, shone last weekend as he won gold at heavyweight and absolute at the IBJJF Paris Open.
Samuel Monin (Gracie Barra) was his opponent in the heavyweight final, but not for long. With a back attack and a tight choke, Sousa secured his first gold medal in a little less than a minute. You can watch it right here:
