Suspended from IBJJF competitions for failing a drug test, Paulo Miyao has been staying active in grappling tournaments. Last weekend the student under Cícero Costha faced 15-year-old Nicky Ryan, a purple-belt under John Danaher. The fight held by the United Grapplers Association ended 7-0 in Miyao’s favor.
