The IBJJF’s number-three-ranked black-belt, João Miyao didn’t get the expected result at the American Nationals, held this month in Las Vegas. In the featherweight final, Miyao was stopped by the American Michael Musumeci.
Mikey, who recently joined Caio Terra Association with his sister Tammi Musumeci, used the right strategy to beat Miyao. The fight was obstructed, with many grip exchanges but, at the end, Musumeci got the victory.
