While most fights will end up on the ground, they start at the feet. Ricardo Almeida of GMA RABJJ Academy in New Jersey shows how to take a fight to the ground and avoid the stand-up striking.

Almeida demonstrates how to defend against various strikes such as roundhouse kick, overhand punch, thai clinch, push kick and some takedowns to use that put you in charge of the fight.
