Roger Gracie won yet another championship at superheavyweight. In the final, though, Ricardo Demente put on a valiant display, opening the scoring and bravely resisting the Gracie’s attacks.
In the end it was another victory for the now-three time absolute world champion, since, unfortunately, Barral was injured and unable to compete in the absolute final. Congratulations, Big Roge!
