In action at the Rio Fall Open, held last weekend in Brazil, Beatriz Mesquita got back on a winning track. The Gracie Humaitá fighter secured double gold, with one well-known BJJ star crossing her path in the absolute final.
Also a member of Gracie Humaitá, Mackenzie Dern reached the final looking to add to her lead in the IBJJF ranking, where she is first. But an inspired Bia needed just over a minute to stack, take the back and finish.
