One of Brazil’s main tourist destinations, Gramado, in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul, is getting ready to receive some of the gentle art’s greatest stars on March 19 and 20, at the final South American qualifier for the Abu Dhabi World Pro.
“We already have a large number of participants, and a number of categories are near capacity,” says Fernando Paradeda, who is responsible for organizing the event via the company Abu Dhabi Pro.
Confirmed at the competition are black belts like Alexandre de Souza, Luiz Big Mac, Eduardo “Português” Santoro, Delson “Pé de Chumbo” Heleno and brown belt Herbert Mitchell Burns, Gilbert Durinho’s brother.
