Today is Keenan Cornelius’ birthday. The black belt under Andre Galvao at GMA Atos Jiu-Jitsu in San Diego, CA is now twenty-two. As a successful black belt in under one year from his promotion, we can all send our gratitude. Keenan made history as a purple belt when he won double gold at all four of the major IBJJF tournaments in 2012.
Since then he has continued to gather gold medals and win tournaments that most people have not and will never win. We may never know the secret to his success that’s probably what makes him so intriguing.
