Ricardo “Cachorrão” Almeida will have a shot at making Matt Hughes pay for beating Almeida’s coach, Renzo Gracie. Though it hasn’t yet been made official by the UFC, Hughes confirmed the matchup.

Hughes beat Renzo by knockout in the third round at their last outings, at UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi. Nearly three years without fighting, the Gracie succumbed to fatigue.

Now Cachorrão rides a three-fight win streak, the last of which came against Matt Brown at UFC 111, ending with a rear-naked choke.

The matchup is set to take place August 7 in California at UFC 117, and is shaping up to seem on paper to be one of the promotion’s great events. The likely card features some intriguing matchups.

Check out the card:

Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen

Thiago Alves vs Jon Fitch

Junior Dos Santos vs Roy Nelson

Ricardo Almeida vs Matt Hughes

Rafael dos Anjos vs Clay Guida

Tim Boetsch vs Thiago Silva

Dennis Hallman vs Ben Saunders
