In the most highly anticipated fight of the Brazil National Pro, held last weekend in Manaus, Nicholas Meregali and Xande Ribeiro went head to head in the 94kg division, in a clash of generations.
With his unpredictable guard and plenty of technique, Meregali managed to avert Ribeiro’s charges, and eventually he nearly swept, which gave him the winning advantage.
