Within a few weeks of its inaugural class, the Young Warrior Jiu Jitsu program at Basulto Academy of Defense has grown to capacity, with children as young as four years old learning the “gentle art”.
Instructor Armando Basulto, an experienced National Board-certified educator, has structured a children’s curriculum that teaches all the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu by using animal references (lizard, bear, crab, etc.) and partner games that develop strong attributes for good mat skills.
