During Dana White’s trip to Morocco, the president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship sealed a deal of major interest to GRACIEMAG.com readers. Accompanied by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed in the North African nation, Dana set the date for the first UFC in Abu Dhabi: April 10 of 2010.

Everything indicates the event will mark Renzo Gracie’s debut in the Octagon, against Matt Hughes. The Jiu-Jitsu teacher confirmed to Brazilian television channel Canal Combate that he signed with the American organization for seven fights.
