The official weigh in for the UFC Fight Night: Lawler vs. Brown took place this Friday, in San Jose California.

Two out of all competitors didn’t make weight.

0_HayabusaGi_StampSiteStrawweight Juliana Lima was one pound over the 116lb mark and co-headliner Matt Brown was 1,5lb over the 171lb limit.

Both fighters were willing to go under a second cut in the hour they had available but the California Athletic Comission wouldn’t allow them to do it.

With that, Lima and Brown will not loose 20% of their purse and will still be eligible for bonuses of the evening after tomorow evening’s event.
