Anderson Silva’s hard-fought win over Chael Sonnen is without a doubt one of the most striking moments in UFC history. But life goes on and promoting the next event, UFC 118, this August 28 in Boston, is in full swing.

One of the main events of the evening pits MMA idol Randy Couture against James Toney, a fighter who had a stellar career in boxing but is an unknown entity in MMA. With 72 wins, six losses and three draws as a pugilist, Toney will have a seasoned veteran up against him on his debut. That doesn’t stifle the confidence his trainers have in him, though.

“They’re going to quickly take Randy to the hospital” said Trever Sherman to MMAJunkie.com.

“I feel Toney is better at this game. I hope he doesn’t hit Couture full on because Randy will retire. You don’t recover from those kinds of punches,” he adds.

“We’re doing fine. We’ll get up and go home. It will be an easy night,” adds John Arthur.

In the boxing profession Toney has faced Roy Jones Jr and Evander Holyfield, among others. Find out a bit more about the fighter:
