Another night of MMA took place in the temple of Rio de Janeiro funk music, the Castelo das Pedras concert hall in the West Rio de Janeiro Rio das Pedras community. Replete with knockouts and submission holds, the Top Fight Night event was a true festival of fighting for 1.5 thousand spectators this Thursday.

In the evening’s main event, Delson Pé de Chumbo used and abused his Jiu-Jitsu to get the takedown, ground and pound, get back mount and sink a snug armbar on Rodrigo Otero. But the match that rose the roof was between community resident Eduardo Pachu and TFT fighter Thiago Ferreira. The local boy had the crowd in his favor and pushed the action for three rounds, egged on by shouts from the stands, “Stomp him, stomp him, hit him, hit him, Pachu, Pachu.” In it was his arm that was raised, awarded the win by unanimous judges’ decision.

The show was put together by fighter Diego Braga and TV reporter Cido Accioly.
