This past Sunday, the IBJJF held its first ever official event in Central America.
The 2013 Panama Open gathered over 400 athletes in Panama City.
The black belt open class division was a close out between Alliance teammates Jorge Santistevan (1st) and Francisco Iturralde (2nd).
They also closed out the middleweight division.
In the teams competition, the results were:
1 – Alliance – 287
2 – Gracie Barra – 86
3 – Mauro Sergio BJJ – 70
