Pan 2014: Updated pre-schedule tells of who fights on which day

The IBJJF has released a newer version of the pre-schedule for the 2014 Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championship on March 12-16 at the Brenn Event Center on the UC Irvine campus.

Wednesday
White adult male and female
White masters male
Blue adult male – Rooster to Feather

Thursday
Blue adult male – Light to Ultra Heavy and Open Class
Blue adult female – Weight divisions and Open Class
Purple adult male – Weight divisions and Open Class

Friday
Blue masters male and female – Weight divisions and Open Class
Purple adult female – Weight divisions and Open Class
Purple masters male and female – Weight divisions and Open Class

Saturday
Juvenile all belts – Weight divisions and Open Class
Brown adult male and female – Weight divisions and Open Class
Brown masters male and female – Weight divisions and Open Class

Black masters male and female *
Black adult male and female Open Class**

* Black Belt Masters athletes will start fighting on Saturday until the quarter-finals (inclusive). The semi-finals and finals will start on Sunday.
Every masters Black belt athlete who is in a bracket that is in a semi final already ( 4 or less  people in the bracket) must check in their weight on Sunday before his/her first fight.
Every masters Black belt athlete who is in a bracket with more than 4 people with fights that will happen on Saturday can check in their weight on Saturday or Sunday before his/her first fight.
** The Open Class final starts on Sunday.
*** Adult Black Belt  athletes will start fighting on Saturday if your bracket have 17 or more people.
The round of 16 brackets to the finals will start or resume on Sunday.
Every adult Black belt athlete who is in a bracket with 17 or more people can check their weight on Saturday, even if his/her fights will occur on Sunday only.
