The bout between Vitor Belfort and Anderson Silva, as uncovered by GRACIEMAG.com, may take place at the UFC’s debut in Abu Dhabi, UFC 112, on April 10, the same event where Renzo Gracie will have his first appearance for the organization against Matt Hughes.

Without confirming anything, Belfort carries on training. The fighter is not taking any time off for end-of-the-year festivities.

“Now I’m ironing out the technical and physical sides a lot. I’m trying to perfect those aspects a lot,” the fighter told GRACIEMAG.com.

For Belfort, training through the festive season is no problem, even less so when his focus is on the UFC middleweight belt.

“You can take a day off here or there. But this is a part of my life, so I don’t rest. I don’t stop because I’ve had enough of something, much to the contrary. I have an objective, which is to be in my best physical and spiritual shape. So I’m training and when I rest it’s because my body needs it. That’s part of training and you just have to know the right time for each thing,” says the “Phenomenon” in finishing.
