Among the 450 athletes to participate at the 2nd Copa Sertão Kamikaze Jiu-Jitsu competition, in Sertãozinho, São Paulo state, this Sunday the 7th, a number of standouts from the international scene will be showing their stuff, like Leandro Lo – an Abu Dhabi World Pro champion –, Bruna Ribeiro, Isaque Paiva, and the twins João and Paulo Miyao, 20, two of the latest sensations to hit the Brazil’s Jiu-Jitsu circuit.

This is the seventh Copa Kamikaze event, of which the first five installments were held in the city of Ribeirão Preto. Offering cash prizes, Kamikaze handed out over 20,000 Brazilian reais in the first six events, which drew over 3,000 athletes. This event, Copa Kamikaze has the backing of the Sertãozinho municipal government.

Entry to the 2nd Copa Sertão Kamikaze will cost 1kg of non-persishable food, and all the proceeds will be donated to social benefit agencies pertaining to the city. The event will kick off at 8am and is expected to end at 6pm. To find out more, visit www.copakamikazesports.com.br.
