Jucão keeps alive at GP in Holland

The first stage of the Ultimate Glory welterweight GP kicked off this Saturday in Amsterdam, Holland.

In one of the most heavily-anticipated fights of the night, former UFC fighter Roan “Jucão” Carneiro beat current Shooto champion Luis Beição to remain in the race. The Jiu-Jitsu black belt’s win came by way of unanimous decision.

In the other fights on the night, Siyar Bahadurzada, another Shooto champion, added another knockout win to his record while still in the first round.
