The team led by black belt Roberto “Gordo” Correa has impending battles across the planet. Just to name a few, Rafael dos Anjos has a meeting set with Clay Guida at UFC 117 this August 7th. Now, Arthur Gogó should fight again in Singapore, where he won his last appearance, while Wendel Negão has two bouts scheduled in Brazil.
To bolster their prep work, the team received Thai trainer Kru Toy, the son of famed master Yotong Senan, who has produced a number of muay thai world champions. Sityodtong Camp, Kru Toy’s family’s training center, has been the training grounds of UFC fighters like Kenny Florian, Patrick Cote, Mark Dellagrotte and Stephan Bonnar, among others.
