Chris Leben showed UFC president Dana White his worth. Having fought and won on June 19, Leben took no rest and accepted the task of filling in for injured Wanderlei Silva against Yoshihiro Akiyama at the last minute at this Saturday’s UFC 116 event.
After beating the opponent originally scheduled for Wand in Las Vegas, Leben didn’t miss his chance to call out the “Axe Murderer”.
“I want Wanderlei. Wanderlei was supposed to have this fight, I want him next,” said Leben, who looks to be a handful for the Brazilian.
