After a perfect UFC debut, getting the submission of the night bonus against Darren Elkins, Charles “do Bronx” Oliveira will have another stiff test to contend with. On the coming 15th in Austin, Texas, the Jiu-Jitsu brown belt will defend his unbeaten record against Efrain Escudero at UFC 22, a challenge the fighter has already commented on here on GRACIEMAG.com (see here).

This Monday, Charles embarks for Texas.

“In these days leading up to the fight I’ll wrap up my training with Macaco (Jorge Patino) at the academy in Texas. I trained hard with my family here at Bronx’s Gold Team,” recounts the young talent, who also had special help in muay thai to brush up on his striking.

“Cosmo Alexandre helped me a lot and now it’s time to go to war,” says Bronx in finishing.
