There was no lack of excitement in the great battles that unfolded at the BJJ Professional Cup in Biella, Italy.
Bernardo Faria was the big winner of the day, winning gold in his weight class, the absolute, and the superfight against Rômulo Barral. Kron Gracie wasn’t far behind, getting the submission in all his matches, to the joy of his father, Rickson Gracie, who watched on from the sidelines. Rômulo Barral showed his Jiu-Jitsu is back up to speed for the Worlds, Lúcio Lagarto had two hard-fought wars with Bernardo Faria, and the masters marked their presence with the Silva brothers dominating the absolute and another gold from Megaton, this time over the hard-nosed Avaro Bobadilla.
