João Assis brought the competition year to a close in style, with a win over winner of the US ADCC trials Rustam Chsiev (K-Dojo) in the final of the Grapplers Quest professional category, in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Wilson Reis took third (Lloyd Irvin/BJJ United).
