The 2011 season will kick off with yet another burly little guy battling for black belt titles. He is none other than multiple-time champion Ary Farias, a fighter from the Brazilian state of Amazonas and a Ronaldo Jacaré and Ricardo Vieira student who is now at Atos Jiu-Jitsu.
“The end-of-the-year promotion ceremony at Atos was held Saturday, and Ramon Lemos gave me my black belt, said Ary in summary to our reporter Carlos Ozório.
