Following the success of the 6th Arizona International Open put on by Gustavo Dantas, the 2011 Arizona Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu State Championship is poised to bring out even more top talent. Set three weeks after the IBJJF 2011 World Championship, on June 25 and 26, the tournament will be offering $1500 to the winners of the adult black belt light open (up to 167.5lbs) and heavy open (over 167.5 lbs). At the 6th AZ Int’l Open, Roberto “Tussa” Alencar saw victory over Bruno Bastos in the final of a stacked 16-man bracket to secure his cash prize. Make sure to sign-up before it’s too late!
