UFC president Dana White confirmed, on ESPN channel’s Rome is Burning program, that Anderson Silva’s next opponent will be Chael Sonnen. The date for the middleweight bout has yet to be defined, but is tipped to take place July or August.
During the program, Dana again showed irritation in regards to Anderson’s posture during hit title fight with Demian Maia, last Saturday.
“If he ever acts like that again in the ring, I will cut him. I don’t care if he’s the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I will cut him, absolutely,” said White on the program.
