ADGS Moscow: one month away from the show, stars line up to compete in Russia

We are one month away from the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Moscow, the third stop in the 2020/2021 season. After two hugely successful events in Miami and Rio de Janeiro, the ADGS Tour now travels to Russia for a whole day of exciting matches on February 7.

The AGDS Moscow reaches its second edition in 2021. The first edition, last year, proved once and for all that Jiu Jitsu is a growing force in the country and the region, with thousands of athletes competing. This year, the ADGS Moscow will be open to athletes of all nationalities in the purple, brown and black belts both in the masters and adult age groups. The final registration deadline is February 2. Even one month out, the ADGS Moscow already has the presence of some big names confirmed to compete. ADWPJJC and ADGS multiple times champion Gabrieli Pessanha is one of them. Francisco Jonas Andrade, Kalel Santos, Ali Monfaradi, Charles Negromonte, Jaime Canuto, Igor Silva, Larissa Paes and Claire-France Thevenon are also in the mix.

AJP Launches Health and Safety Guide for 2020/2021 season events

The AJP is working tirelessly to guarantee the safest environment possible for athletes, officials, referees and all of those involved in its events when the 2020/2021 season starts. That’s why the AJP has put together a comprehensive guide that sets rules and regulations for each event to happen in the safest way possible.

According to the AJP Events Safety Procedure Guidelines, all of those involved in the events will be asked to wear personal protective equipment like masks and gloves and also practice social distancing before and after matches.
