Cyborg on the absolute podium.
Another edition of the IBJJF’s Miami Fall Open is in the books. This weekend, Roberto Cyborg showed us that his gi skills are still top-notch, winning gold in the ultra-heavy and absolute divisions.
Cyborg had to face young Max Gimenis (GFTeam) twice to get there. In the absolute, Cyborg beat him — and every other opponent — by submission. Cyborg was later photobombed by his dad on the podium.
João Miyao (Cícero Costha) took gold at light featherweight. Felipinho César (Barbosa JJ) triumphed at middleweight. Osvaldo Queixinho (Ares BJJ) walked out with the lightweight title, and he’s got some knowledge he wants to share with you.
