The leader of Gracie Barra Santa Maria, black-belt Marcio Lima, took on the challenge of doing a superfight in the middle of JK Shopping, a shopping mall in the Brazilian capital, to the delight of supporters and the occasional curious shopper.
The match, held on August 24, pitted Marcio against Adão Neto (Nova União) right in the middle of the mall’s central plaza. By patiently working in the search of the guard pass, Marcio managed to pass twice — good enough for a win on points.
