The AJP is offering another round of the Online Jiu-Jitsu Rules Course – Level 1 for both athletes and practitioners. The Jiu-Jitsu Rules Course will be taught both in English and Portuguese. The AJP has gathered a world class team of instructors, including Master Julio Cesar Pereira, Oliver Geddes, Alvaro Bobadilla, Gabriel Rainho, Mauricio Gomes and Regis Tadeu.
The three main goals of the course are:
- Provide a comprehensive understanding of the AJP rules of Jiu-Jitsu for all practitioners.
- Prepare the potential Referee to a standard that they are able to begin refereeing lower belts in competition under supervision.
- Train the AJP Referees and to provide them with updated knowledge for a better performance in competitions.

AJP Tour kicks off 2020/2021 season on August 23
The 2020/2021 season of the AJP Tour kicks off in Russia, on August 23 and then travels to Brazil for an event in Cuiaba, on August 30.
The two next stops are in Europe, with Odesa and Zurich on September 12. In the same weekend, the tour returns to Brazil for an event in Brasilia on September 13.
The first major event is scheduled September 26-27, when the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour lands in Miami.
The tour then continues on to Europe, with events in Hungary (Oct. 3), Ukraine (Oct. 10), Germany (Oct. 17) and Ireland (Oct. 17). On October 18, the tour makes a stop in South Korea.
The second anchor event of the season is scheduled October 24-25, when the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour arrives in Moscow, Russia.
Then it’s off to Barueri, Brazil (Oct. 31), North Macedonia (Oct.31), Vancouver, Canada (Nov. 7), Fortaleza, Brazil (Nov. 8), Moscow, Russia (Nov.22) and then back to Belem, Brazil (Nov.22).
The third stop of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour is scheduled December 4-6, in Rio de Janeiro.
The tour then goes to Bogota, Colombia (Dec. 5-6), Zagreb, Croatia (Dec. 5), Florianópolis, Brazil (Dec.6), Kiev, Ukraine (Dec.12).
The tour continues into 2021 with events already scheduled for the most important Jiu-Jitsu hubs on the planet. The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tour completes with two additional events – ADGS London (Feb. 6-7), ADGS Abu Dhabi (April 1-3).
