Wallid announces card and promises Jungle Fight monthly in 2012

The 30th installment of Jungle Fight is coming up July 30 in the city of Belém, Pará state, one of Brazil’s MMA hotbeds. The card, as you can see for yourself below, features a number of promising matchups. But Wallid Ismail, the promoter of the event, promises even bigger news for next season.

“Next year we’ll be holding an event every month. This year’s calendar is already in place, but in 2012 We’ll be holding a Jungle Fight on the last Saturday of each month,” said the Carlson Gracie black belt shortly after the latest event, in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo.

On the late July Belém event, Wallid promises another first-rate show:

“We’re going to hold a major Jungle Fight in Belém. Congratulations to the local producers who helped transform MMA into the most popular sport in Pará, a land of warriors,” he says.
