Mackenzie Dern retains Fight to Win belt; Tanquinho beats Glover for lightweight title

BJJ world champion Mackenzie Dern scored another triumph as she successfully defended her bantamweight belt at Fight To Win Pro 25, held Feb. 4 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dern faced black-belt Pati Fontes and came out on top using the brabo choke.

The co-main event saw UFC fighter Augusto “Tanquinho” Mendes win F2W’s lightweight belt over Jeff Glover. Also, Gianni Grippo achieved a split-decision win against Samir Chantre.
