Em um dos duelos, uma jovem atleta da arte suave encarou um desses wrestlers em luta mista. O combate, porém, foi todo ditado pela jovem.

Após botar na guarda fechada, a menina trabalhou alguns ataques, mas acabou liquidando a fatura com um armlock do triângulo.

O UFC on FX 5 desta sexta feira, em Minneapolis. EUA, tem transmissão ao vivo pelo Canal Combate, ligue agora sua televisão e acompanhe. Na luta principal, o gigante Antonio Pezão pode demolir ou servir de “escada” para o bom havaiano Travis Browne, promessa do peso pesado.

Não é a única luta interessante do card, como você lê a seguir:

1. Antonio Pezão vs Travis Browne

Não é a luta principal à toa. O mais famoso Pezão está em busca da recuperação após ser nocauteado em sua estreia pelo evento, pelo poderoso Cain Velasquez, mas encara um Travis com 13 vitórias consecutivas, além de um empate. O havaiano “Hapa” vai tentar mostrar seu boxe e muay thai. O caminho do brasileiro faixa-preta de Jiu-Jitsu é derrubar e bater no chão.

2. Jussier Formiga vs John Dodson

Em sua estreia pela organização, o brasileiro Jussier Formiga enfrenta o duro wrestler John Dodson.  O americano vem de duas vitórias na organização, e adora derrubar. Quem vencer se credencia à disputa do cinto dos moscas com o campeão Demetrius  Johnson.

3. Josh Neer vs Justin Edwards

O americano Josh Neer vinha num embalo de seis vitórias consecutivas, mas parou na pedreira Mike Pyle. Com o que tem de melhor, a trocacão, Neer vai com tudo para cima de Justin Edwards, que tenta se reabilitar no evento após derrota para John Maguire. Edwards é bom de quedas, vamos ver o que acontece.

4. Carlo Prater vs Marcus Levesseur

O brasileiro Carlos Prater  está vindo de derrota para TJ Grant, e com a experiência que tem pode reverter seu quadro no UFC se vencer Levesseur. Carlos é bom de finalização, já pegou até Carlos Condit em priscas eras, e vai tentar manter a luta no chão.

5. Diego Nunes vs Bart Palaszewski

O brazuca Diego Nunes vem de derrota para o alemão Dennis Siver, e tenta melhorar o seu cartel no UFC que é de 2v e 2d. O polonês  Bart Palaszewki é faixa-preta de Jiu-Jitsu mas procura sempre a trocacão franca em seus combates e não será diferente nesse. Diego vai tentar bater em cima e impor seu jogo de quedas para trabalhar a finalização no solo.

UFC on Fox 5 is going down in Minneapolis, USA this Friday, with a clash of titans between Brazil’s Antonio Silva and Hawaii’s Travis Browne headlines the card.

But that’s not the only interesting matchup on the night, as you can see:

1. ANTONIO SILVA VS. TRAVIS BROWNE

There’s a reason it’s the main event. The more famous Silva is looking to recover from the knockout he suffered at the hands of the powerful Cain Velasquez, but he has his hands full in Travis, who holds a record of 13 wins and one draw. The Hawaiian “Hapa” will be looking to use his boxing and Thai boxing skills, while the Brazilian black belt in Jiu-Jitsu will be looking for the takedown and ground and pound.

2. JUSSIER FORMIGA VS. JOHN DODSON

Making his debut in the promotion, Brazil’s Jussier Formiga takes on game wrestler John Dodson. The American holds two wins in the organization and loves shooting takedowns. The winner is tipped to challenge Demetrius Johnson for the newly minted flyweight belt.

3. JOSH NEER VS. JUSTIN EDWARDS

Josh Neer was on a roll with six straight wins but was halted by the hard-nosed Mike Pyle. Wielding what he does best, his striking, Neer will be taking it to Justin Edwards, who will be trying to right his ship in the event since losing to John Maguire. Edward’s is savvy with his takedowns, so let’s see what happens.

4. CARLO PRATER VS. MARCUS LEVESSEUR

Brazil’x Carlo Prater is coming off a loss to TJ Grant, and with the experience he has he could turn things around in the UFC if he beats Levesseur. Carlo is strong with submissions, even having tapped out Carlos Condit in bygone days, and he’ll be looking to keep it on the ground.

5. DIEGO NUNES VS. BART PALASZEWSKI

Brazil’s Diego Nunes is coming off a loss to Russian-German Dennis Siver and will be looking to improve on his 2-win, 2-loss UFC record. Bart Palaszewski is a Jiu-Jitsu black belt but has a penchant for straight-out standing firefights, and this time will be no different. Diego will likely try to stand and bang to set up takedowns and work for a submission on the ground.
