A declared MMA fan, actor Vin Diesel went out of his way to be sure his friend Rodrigo Minotauro would be at the world premier of “Fast and Furious 5,” on Friday night in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting was marked by remembrance of old times.

“I met Vin Diesel in Tokyo in 2001, when I was still fighting in Pride. He’s a big UFC fan and always watches us fight,” says Minotauro.

The black belt also reveals how the American actor knows a thing or two about the gentle art.

“I’ve trained with him a few times. He’s got skills, he’s about blue belt level,” he says in conclusion.

Fã declarado de MMA, o ator Vin Diesel fez questão que o amigo e lutador Rodrigo Minotauro estivesse presente na festa promovida para a première mundial do filme “Velozes e Furiosos 5”, na noite desta sexta-feira, no Rio de Janeiro.  O encontro foi marcado por lembranças de velhas histórias.

“Conheci o Vin Diesel em Tóquio, em 2002, quando ainda lutava pelo Pride. Ele é muito fã do UFC e sempre assiste às nossas lutas”, diz Minotauro.

O faixa-preta também revela que o ator americano sabe um pouco da arte suave.

“Já fiz alguns treinos com ele. O cara é habilidoso, é equivalente a um faixa-azul”, finaliza.
