Danillo and Yuri Villefort are Strikeforce’s latest hirees. And the pair of siblings already know against whom and when they’ll be making their debuts in the promotion. On June 24 in Washington Danilo (13-3) will face Antwain “The Juggernaut” Britt (11-5), while Yuri (6-0) will step up against Travis Bush (5-2-1). The matchups feature on the card for Strikeforce: Challengers 16.

It will be the second time the brothers fight on the same evening. The last was at Bitetti Combat 6 in Brasília, where both were victorious. Danillo will figure on the main card of the show, thus making the television broadcast.

“I watched Britt’s fight and for sure he’s a tough guy. But I saw some flaws in his game and I’m going to knock him out in the first or second round, so everyone should tune in,” menaces Danillo.

“I’ve been training my whole life and this is my first opportunity in a major event. I’ll be 100% ready on June 24 and, one way or another, I’m going to end this fight and give the fans what they want to see,” says Yuri.

É a segunda vez que os dois irmãos lutam na mesma noite. A outra foi no Bitetti Combat 6, em Brasília, ocasião em que ambos saíram vitoriosos. A luta de Danillo faz parte do card principal do show, portanto vai ser televisionada.

“Assisti às lutas do Britt e, tenho certeza, ele é um cara durão. Mas vi os erros no jogo dele e vou nocauteá-lo no primeiro ou segundo round, assistam”, dispara Danillo.

“Treino a minha vida inteira e essa é a minha primeira oportunidade num grande evento. No dia 24 de junho estarei 100% pronto e, de um jeito ou de outro, vou terminar essa luta e dar aos fãs o que eles querem assistir”, diz Yuri.
