Bela e perigosa, se a lutadora de muay thai é considerada uma das melhores do país, agora Tainara Lisboa já tem fama internacional. A atleta da Thai Center saiu do Brasil com 11 vitórias em 11 lutas e foi em outubro do ano passado treinar na Tailândia para adquirir maior conhecimento e experiência. 

Lá, participou de grandes eventos e venceu todos. Primeiro bateu a inglesa Maria Thum no Elite Fight Night, onde conquistou o cinturão; depois venceu a até então campeã invicta francesa Bakissi Laetitia no principal evento tailandês, que é o King’s Cup; e, por último, derrotou a renomada alemã Sabine Kern no The Champions Club. 

“Essa foi apenas minha primeira etapa na Tailândia, uma experiência incrível. O fato de o meu treinador Sandro de Castro ter ido comigo e ser a sua terceira passagem por lá, no mesmo campo de treinamento, a Romristhong Gym, facilitou bastante a adaptação. Sempre que a nossa equipe está por lá é muito bem tratada. Parece que fazemos parte da mesma família, é impressionante. Ainda esse ano ou começo de 2011 estaremos de volta, com certeza”, diz Tainara.

Beautiful and dangerous, if the muay thai fighter is considered one of the best in the nation of Brazil, now Tainara Lisboa is internationally known. The Thai Center athlete left Brazil with 11 wins in 11 fights and last October went to train in Thailand to gain greater knowledge and experience.

There, she participated in major events and won them all. First she beat England’s Mary Thum at Elite Fight Night, where she won the belt; then she beat France’s then-undefeated Bakissi Laetitia at Thailand’s main event, the King’s Cup; and lastly defeated Germany’s renowned Sabine Kern at The Champions Club.

“This was just my first time in Thailand, an amazing experience. The fact that my coach Sandro de Castro went with me and it was his third trip there, plus Romristhong Gym helping me out as a training camp, greatly facilitated my adaptation. Every time our team goes there it is very well treated. It’s like we are part of the same family; it’s impressive. Later this year or early 2011 we’ll be back for sure, “says Tainara.
