The post This is what women training together should look like: Mackenzie Dern leads training camp first appeared on Graciemag.]]> Mackenzie Dern is a multiple-time world champion under her father, Wellington Megaton Dias of GMA Team Megaton Jiu-Jitsu in Phoenix, AZ. In August, Mackenzie traveled to Seattle, WA to lead a women’s only training camp for the females in the pacific northwest. Thirty ladies came together from Canada, areas of Washington, Brazil, Oregon and more to train with one another and learn something from Mackenzie.

Other instructors who taught techniques include: local black belts Miriam Cardoso, Andrea Encarnacion and Michelle Wagner, Straight Blast Gym of Portland’s brown belt Amanda Loewen and purple belt Leah Taylor, and brown belt Jane Minondo from Vancouver, BC.
