Since his retirement from MMA, Hermes França told GRACIEMAG.com he will dedicate himself only to Jiu-Jitsu. Our GMA at East West Combat Club, Hermes will see some No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu action at the UFC Fan Expo, to be held May 28 and 29 in parallel to UFC 114 in Las Vegas. The black belt will face Bill Cooper, a student of our GMA Ricardo Miller, of Paragon BJJ.

There will be other grappling aces in action as well. Three-time world champion Fredson Paixão, who fights in the WEC, will face Japan’s Caol Uno. Rounding out the card for the grappling challenge is Shayna Baszler and ADCC champion Penny Thomas, Jeff Glover against Javier Vazquez.
