GMA member school Renzo Gracie Cape Town is welcoming Jiu-Jitsu star Lúcio “Lagarto” Rodrigues.

The current European Open heavyweight champion is in South Africa for four days of seminars, until December 9th.

Lagarto will teach some of the techniques that has put him among the gentle art’s best.

Instructor Kurdt George, leader of Renzo Gracie Cape Town, welcomed black belt Helio Pereira, from Angola.

Pereira spent two weeks teaching at the GMA member school.

To celebrate the visit, Pereira took the opportunity to graduate Africa Champion & world Pro Bronze Medalist Wesley George to the purple belt.

Renzo Gracie himself approved the new rank.
