Na final até 88kg da 1ª IBJJ Pro League, os favoritos Rômulo Barral (Gracie Barra) e André Galvão (Atos Jiu-Jitsu) foram com tudo para a disputa dos 5 mil dólares.

Rominho havia despachado Raul Castillo, por 21 a 0. Na semifinal com o companheiro de equipe Otavio Sousa, o mineiro finalizou com um justo armlock. Já André Galvão passou por Diego Herzog (7 a 0), e finalizou Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa com um estrangulamento pelas costas.

In the under-88 kg final of the first ever IBJJ Pro League event, favorites Rômulo Barral of Gracie Barra and André Galvão of Atos Jiu-Jitsu went all out in trying to get their hands on the $5,000 bounty.

To make it to their showdown: Romulo dished out a 21-0 drubbing on Raul Castillo. Against his teammate Otavio Sousa in the semifinals, the Gracie Barra ace won with a tight armbar. Now, André Galvão made it past Diego Herzog by a score of 7 to 0 and tapped out Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa with a rear-naked choke.
