He’s a tough black belt and not the octopus Paul, a mollusk that came to fame after “getting right” all the soccer World Cup games. But Romulo nailed one result. Over Twitter he sent his prediction: “Anderson will finish with a triangle.”

The submission did end up coming. It came in the form of an armbar, but from within a snug triangle not unlike Barral’s prediction.

“You saw, didn’t you? I told you there’d be a triangle,” remarked the black belt after the fight’s outcome.
